Hello Traders,

My trading and investing portfolio made a new ATH at +32% since I started tracking the performance in May 2023. The current performance is 29%. Not bad for 8 months (May-Dec 2023).

If I annualize the result, this would be a 43.5% return in a combined trading and investment portfolio. The trading part would generate about 36% returns and the investments about 7% (with only 60% of the funds invested). The max draw-down of the portfolio was about 7%.

Forecast

Dollar Index

The Dollar looks to be in a down-trend and may rally a bit before continuing in the direction of this trend.

The Dollar has been in a longer-term up trend since 2008. There is more downside potential before we hit the lower end of the up-trend channel.

If the DXY breaks below 100 we could quickly see lower levels.
